 My Third PLAI Congress Life is a continuous learning process, and as librarians, we must be at the forefront of acquiring new knowledge and embracing the latest trends and innovations. One of the best ways to achieve this is by attending seminars. It's a privilege that librarians have an annual Congress where we can gain insights from timely and relevant research to improve our library services. In 2024, the PLAI Congress was held in Davao City. When I first heard about the venue, I felt excited since it would be my first time visiting a city in Mindanao.   My journey in taking a library science course has been anything but straightforward, marked by challenges, perseverance, and a deep passion for learning. Growing up, I always had a love for books and knowledge, but the path to becoming a librarian was filled with obstacles that tested my resolve. As a working student, I juggled my studies with responsibilities at my uncle’s computer shop, a situation that challenged my time management skills and resilience. Balancing classes, assignments, and my job was no easy feat. I vividly remember my typical day: waking up early to prepare for class, rushing to attend lectures, and then immediately heading to the library for my duty as library sttudent assistant. Time was a luxury I couldn’t afford. I had to prioritize tasks, often sacrificing sleep or social activities to meet deadlines.
